Cooper Zalasar
January 31, 2010 ~ September 22, 2022
Cooper Zalasar crossed the bridge into heaven this past September 22, 2022.
Cooper was born on January 31, 2010 in Illinois and most recently lived in Northern Virginia. He was adored by any and all who met him, but most of all, by his family, Evelyn and Sergio Zalasar. Cooper’s favorite things were to be outdoors, go on hikes, rolling in the grass, chasing squirrels, going for long walks as a family, and playing with his squeaking rabbit toy. He loved peanut butter, bananas, and sneaking food off tables and counters. He hated escalated conversations and would disrupt them by drinking his water loudly and eventually barking to add his two cents.
He was also known as baby boy, Coop, Coopie, Coop Dog, Scoopy Doo, Falkor, Wooley Bully, Cuddly Dudley and mijo.
He was the most gentle 90 lb. giant dog, with beautiful loving eyes, trademark long legs, and a tail as long as Godzilla’s. He loved hugs, neck massages, and would always lean in for more petting.
More than anything, Cooper loved his momma and daddy, Evelyn and Sergio. He was always there to comfort, to cheer up and cheer on, and to be a source of joy and laughter. He would eat loudly just like his daddy. He would nap whenever his momma did and would not leave her side for anything.
We will always think of him, especially whenever we see squirrels cross the sidewalk. We are grateful to God for the many years of unconditional love he provided us and our family and friends who got to know him. We will hold him in our hearts forever and he will never be forgotten.
We ask that you give your own pets big hugs today in memory of Cooper.
I love and miss you so much Cooper! May you be running and jumping in Heaven eating all of the peanut butter that your heart desires!
Love and miss you much, my Wooley Bully, Cuddley Dudley, Coop Dog!
